Your plan in one sentence
A Degen agent follows one sentence you fill in: buy these coins when this happens, spend this much, then sell when this happens, unless it looks dangerous. Start from a template on the Degen page and change anything. Setup runs in six steps: Coins, Buy rule, Risk & size, Exits, Safety & limits and Review.
When it buys
| Entry | Buys when |
|---|---|
| Breakout | Price breaks above its high over the time window (not counting the last 5 minutes) and 5-minute volume is a set multiple of normal. |
| Dip & recover | Price falls a set % from its highest price over the time window, then bounces a set % from the low. |
| Volume spike | 5-minute volume reaches a set multiple of its average over the time window, price is rising and buys outnumber sells. |
| Trend ride | Price makes a new high over the time window, stays above its average over that time, and volume reaches a set multiple of normal. |
The time window
Before every buy it checks token safety, pool liquidity and age, the cost of the buy, and the cost of selling the whole position right now. Any failed check skips the buy and the reason shows in the activity log.
When it sells
| Exit | What it does |
|---|---|
| Stop loss | Sells everything if price falls a set % below your entry. |
| Trailing stop | Sells everything if price falls a set % below its best since entry. |
| Take-profit steps | Sells a share of the position at 2x, 5x… your entry. |
| Moonbag | A share the steps never sell; it rides until a stop. |
| Time stop | Sells after a set number of hours. |
| Danger exits | Sells if pool liquidity is pulled or volume dries up. |
Getting out comes first
The risk level
The Risk & size step has a five-stop slider from more cautious to more aggressive; the middle stop is the template's own settings. Moving it previews every value it would change (trade size, spending caps, stop width, pool requirements, loss limits and the costly-exit threshold). Nothing changes until you apply it. Your coins and buy rule never change. Anything you tune by hand afterwards is marked Custom with a reset. The levels are configuration choices, not a measured risk score.
Changing a running plan
Open a Degen deployment and choose Edit plan. Jump to any section, then review the before and after values and save. A running agent uses the new plan on its next check; a paused one uses it when you resume. Changed stops and exits apply to positions you already hold. A removed coin is never bought again but its open position is still managed until it exits. A take-profit step that has already sold for an open position can't be changed or removed until that position closes, so a step can never sell twice. If someone saves the plan elsewhere first, your edits are kept and you can compare them with the latest version before saving again.
What it is and isn't
- Paper only: no wallet, no real funds, nothing signed.
- Prices from DEX Screener; fills at real Jupiter quotes including price impact, pool fees and an estimated network fee.
- It checks every 15 seconds: a watcher and paper trader, not a sniper.
- Holder concentration and liquidity locks aren't checked yet.
